PBX Operator - Full Time

Opportunity to join Oahu's first Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star luxury hotel! Trump International Hotel Waikiki has an immediate opening for the position of PBX Operator – Full Time.

Position Overview:

Answer multi-line telephone system and assist callers, including providing adequate information and/or dispatching to the appropriate guest, department, or individual. Receive and distribute guest/owner mail/faxes, packages/parcels. Provide support to Guest Reception and other departments as need arises. *Additional duties will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications and specific requirements:

Professional English-speaking voice, Japanese speaking required; previous PBX and luxury hotel experience preferred; ability to handle guest requests in a timely manner; ability to multi-task and work calmly and efficiently in a stressful environment; proficient with computers and multi operating systems.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged sitting (up to 8 hours), frequent walking, standing. Lifting, pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, stretch, kneeling, twisting, climbing, reaching, grasping. Reaching overhead – occasionally extending the arms/hands above the head in any direction. Must have appropriate vision, hearing and oral communication skills needed to perform daily tasks. Requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Must be able to access all public and private areas of the property, including stairwells, elevators, all maintenance and equipment areas/rooms, guest rooms, etc. The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.
