Work Style: 90% Remote Work, 5% Office Work, and 5% Client Facilities

Shift: 1st, 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Rate: $50.00-$60.00+ (Based on Experience)

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and troubleshooting PLC systems, with experience in industrial settings/applications. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of automated processes and systems for our customers. The PLC Programmer will work closely with engineers and technicians to develop, implement, and maintain control systems that enhance productivity and safety.

Essential Functions:

• Develop, test, and implement PLC programs for various industrial applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design control systems that meet project specifications.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Conduct field service work as needed, including high voltage installations and maintenance. (5%)
• Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics and testing.
• Fabricate components or modify existing equipment to improve functionality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes, system configurations, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors degree is preferred, a minimum of 5 years experience in PLC and HMI programming is required.
• Previous Rockwell PLC Programming experience is required.
• Experience with providing Industrial Control Engineering in support of process and packaging plant projects.
• Experience with engineering, control system evaluation, BOM and vendor coordination, schedule support, and installation support for manufacturing facilities.
• Electrical Design in AutoCAD Electrical for power and control panels helpful.
• Programming experience required in the following systems:
• Allen Bradley / Rockwell: PLC ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Panelviews, Drives, Rockwell, Network & Communication design and engineering a plus.
• Ability to read and understand complex schematics and technical drawings.
• Mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to control systems.
• Experience with field service operations is a plus.
• Certification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field is preferred.
