What is Honey Homes?
Honey Homes is a membership service that provides a dedicated handyman who proactively takes care of the everyday tasks and unexpected repairs of homeownership. Our members save time, spend less money, and stress less about their home.
What You'll Do
As a Lead Handyman, you'll be responsible for tackling tasks for your members including fixes and troubleshooting, furniture assembly, caulking and grouting, patching and painting, smart home device installation, small electrical and plumbing jobs (no license required), and more.
You'll also proactively perform regular home maintenance tasks, such as changing air filters every 3 months, checking gutters twice a year, and more. As part of our team, you may also perform special services as needed, such as hanging holiday lights or power washing patios.
You’ll manage 40 homes within a single area, becoming a trusted part of the community. Supported by our technology, you’ll focus on delivering exceptional service while Honey Homes helps you grow your career.
This position serves homes in the city of San Francisco.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong communication skills - personable, trustworthy, and solution-focused
Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks
Expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting home appliances and systems
Comfortable installing and modifying Wi-Fi, smart locks, and other smart home devices
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work - you take pride in the detail of your finishes
Commitment to safety
Desired Experience:
5+ years in single-family home maintenance/construction (or a mix of single-family home and apartment/complex maintenance)
Licensed general contractors, electricians, and plumbers are highly encouraged to apply
Valid driver’s license (required)
