We are a digital health company founded & run by cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and oncologists. Our team has over 50+ years of healthcare experience. We come from McKinsey, Stanford, MIT, ASCO, amongst others. We are funded by top-tier venture funds such as Pear Ventures, Sozo Ventures, and 1843 Capital, and are generating revenue from life-science partners.

About this Role

As the Strategic Alliances Lead at Manta Cares, you’ll play a crucial role in driving our growth and operational efficiency across the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. This strategic position involves managing business operations, developing key partnerships, and optimizing account management processes. Your contributions will support our mission to enhance patient care through innovative partnerships and streamlined business practices. This role requires 25-30% U.S. travel for partner meetings, industry events, and operational support.

What You’ll Lead

  • Business Operations Management: Enhance operational efficiency by analyzing and optimizing processes. Develop SOPs to ensure compliance with industry standards and work closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges and align on goals.

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, overseeing customer satisfaction and retention. Create and maintain account plans, track performance, and update stakeholders on key metrics to identify growth opportunities.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Use data analytics to track performance, assess partnerships, and monitor account health. Provide reports and data-driven insights to inform decision-making and foster continuous improvement across business operations.

  • Strategic Channel Business Development: Identify strategic partnership opportunities in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Conduct market research, negotiate agreements, and ensure alignment with organizational goals to drive growth.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate seamless communication across internal teams and external partners, aligning goals and deliverables. Represent Manta Cares at industry events to promote our brand and cultivate relationships with potential partners.

Who You Are

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences; Master’s degree preferred. 8-10 years in business operations, partnerships, or account management within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Strong understanding of business development in pharmaceuticals, including regulatory compliance.

  • Relationship Builder: Proven success in managing partnerships and accounts, with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Analytical Mindset: Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement, with a results-driven approach.

  • Startup Experience: Demonstrated ability to adapt in fast-paced environments with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience working across teams and with stakeholders.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management and CRM software, with familiarity in data analytics tools as a plus. Willingness to travel 25-30% for key meetings and events.
