Director, Financial & Contracting Operations

Who we are...

Pearl Health is powering the future of healthcare. We help primary care providers and organizations to deliver quality healthcare to the patients who need it most, when they need it most — and get rewarded for keeping patients healthy.

Our technology, services, and financial tools enable better, more proactive care, decrease total cost of care across patient panels, and optimize performance in value-based care models for Traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

We are a team of physicians and public health experts (Stanford, Harvard, Mount Sinai), technologists (athenahealth, Amazon, Meta, Flatiron), healthcare innovators (Centivo, Aledade, Stellar, Arcadia), and experienced risk management professionals (CVS/Aetna, Humana, Oscar) who believe that primary care providers are the key to addressing our healthcare system’s biggest challenges.

Since its founding in 2020, Pearl has expanded to partner with thousands of primary care providers in practices and organizations across 44 states. Our investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Viking Global Investors, AlleyCorp, and SV Angel.

The role. . .

We are seeking a systems & process-driven Director of Financial & Contracting Operations to join our Finance team. To be successful in this role you will:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of processes, operations, systems, and tools related to client payments and contracting matters

  • Evaluate and implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool to help manage financial and contracting operational workflows, including close collaboration with the Controller to ensure strong financial reporting capabilities

  • Partner closely with the leadership and Customer Success teams on client performance reporting and provide insights into key deal levers for recontracting efforts

  • Drive efficiency, optimization, and automation of contracting processes and develop and document payment policies to standardize processes and strengthen internal controls

Who you are. . .

  • 7+ years of experience in financial operations, contract management, or related roles

  • You are extremely detail oriented and organized, thrive in a fast-paced work environment and seek to increase operational efficiency where you can

  • You have demonstrated experience in managing complex financial and contracting processes, as both a system builder and operator

  • You have experience with contract lifecycle management systems, ERPs and/or other system implementations

  • You are a self-starter: you thrive on taking ownership of initiatives with limited oversight

  • You're an experienced business partner, skilled in building trust and you have excellent communication skills
