Social Media Marketing Manager

The Social Media Manager will lead and evolve Pendo’s presence and strategy on social platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading social media efforts within the SaaS industry and creating a results-driven social content strategy to build brands and drive growth. 

In this role, you’ll work with cross-functional partners to establish Pendo as a best-in-class B2B brand on social media. You’ll own our social media calendar and process for maintaining a responsive and engaging social presence for Pendo. You’ll ensure our social media content is on message and on brand. You’ll proactively identify opportunities for conversation, conversion, engagement, creativity, and growth via social platforms.

 

Responsibilities (what you’ll do): 

  • Produce high-quality, engaging content that grows our audience across social platforms.
  • Interact with followers, community members, and employees to drive engagement and support marketing campaigns/business objectives.
  • Manage our social channels via social media management tools and native apps to publish content and report on our success and learnings. 
  • Manage organic social media campaigns and partner closely with our growth marketing team on paid social media campaigns, with a focus on engagement rates and campaign efficiency.
  • Challenge the organization with creative thinking, identifying bold new ways to elevate the Pendo brand on social platforms. 
  • Lead the charge. The right person will have high quality standards and a bias to act. It’s an exciting time to join Pendo and grow our business, and we need people who are motivated to define and evolve our work as a marketing team and a company.

 

Qualifications (what you have):

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with a focus on social media management
  • Experience managing content calendars, SLAs, and social media campaigns 
  • Experience with social media platforms for publishing and reporting
  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with writers and designers to create compelling content that aligns with business objectives
  • Knowledge of current trends in social media and strong creative instincts to create both proactive and reactive social-first content
  • Ability to create and edit short-form video
  • Social asset creation and animations skills are a plus

Compensation 

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in: 

  • Raleigh, NC: $84,000 - $105,000

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
