In this critical role, you'll handle system administration, configuration, and development within the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise will drive efficiency, collaboration, and seamless software releases.The location of this position is flexible and can operate fully remote within the United States. Standard working hours are in the eastern time zone, candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Core ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration and Configuration:• Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform.• Configure user access, permissions, and system settings.• Customize workflows to align with organizational processes.ServiceNow Development:• Design, implement, and test ServiceNow forms and record producers.• Develop custom scripts to automate manual tasks.• Evaluate customer customization requests and propose solutions.Coordination and Communication:• Act as a bridge between external vendors and internal stakeholders.• Coordinate tasks effectively, ensuring smooth collaboration.• Communicate findings and propose solutions to stakeholders.Software Releases and Upgrades:• Administer ServiceNow instances, including upgrades.• Review major software releases and assess their impact.• Propose enhancements based on stakeholder needs.QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience• This position minimally requires a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications• ServiceNow Administration experience• ServiceNow Forms building experience• JavaScript proficiency• A degree in a related field or relevant experience.The Pennsylvania State University is committed to and accountable for advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in all of its forms.
