As a Supply Planner, you will play an integral part of Penumbra's Production process developing a schedule for meeting monthly operations plans, including weekly adjustments of work orders to keep inventory within our target range. The role also contributes to manufacturing and supply chain-related continuous improvement activities.
What You'll Work On:
• Establish production schedules for manufacturing that align with committed build plan.
• Monitor daily inventories; track progress of production and review factors that affect schedules
• Make necessary modifications to the schedule to ensure achievement of on-time shipment goals.
• Use ERP system to review sales orders, MRP schedules, inventory outlooks, and capacity requirements
• Calculate and manage safety stocks, maintain optimal inventory level to support the customer service initiatives.
• Review and approve the international orders to achieve the revenue goals.
• Ensure all new products or product changes are set up correctly in the materials modules of the ERP system, including all process parameters and flag settings.
• Communicate and work with Production, Marketing, Purchasing and Finance to meet business goals.
• Work with international distribution centers establishing inventory replenishment targets and approving weekly replenishment orders.
• Continuously improve Master Schedule programs to incorporate best practices and adjust accordingly to the changing marketplace
What You Bring:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent combination of education and experience
• APICS CPIM preferred
• Basic data analysis, including report writing, Word, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to plan, schedule, manage and control the planning/scheduling function, including MRP programs

• Ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to solve problems, identify root causes, and implement effective alternatives
• Effective oral and written communication skills required. Appropriate business demeanor under high pressure and often short deadlines
Working Conditions:
General office and class 10,000 cleanroom environments. Willingness and ability to work on site. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Annual Base Salary Range: $66,560 - $85,000/yearly
