Here is the role:

Working across the whole business, you will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to enable them to drive success and achieve their deliverables. You will be the first point of contact for Employee Relations matters, talent development and organisational change. You will work closely with the internal recruitment team to ensure each department has the appropriate resource.


This is what we need from you:

  • Work with managers on career development initiatives, including implementing personal development plans, succession planning, talent profiling, appraisals and salary review completed
  • Partner with the team leaders to ensure performance reviews are carried out in a timely manner and pay reviews are processed in line with company practice and budget
  • Provide training to the business on relevant topics where necessary
  • Ensure policies are kept up to date and in line with Employment legislation
  • Encourage internal promotions, and work with the hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition between roles
  • Carry out leaver interviews and report back on a monthly basis with trends and suggestions for improvements
  • Input into the People business strategy and work with the People Director to see through to fruition
  • Assist the Cultural Champions with any social activities
  • Support the People Director to deliver and embed the Harmonisation Programme.


We also need you to:

  • Support and educate managers in all employee relations related queries, being proactive where possible
  • Escalate risk to the People Director where appropriate, and report on a monthly basis
  • Work with managers to reduce regrettable people turnover, understand reasons for leaving and develop practices to minimise risk
  • Ensure policies are kept up to date and in line with Employment legislation
  • Support the managers to hire in line with the recruitment processes
  • Undertake project work as determined by the business strategy
  • Be an advocate for Kocho and work with teams to ensure they feel part of the journey
