This isn't your typical office operations role! While managing the smooth operation of our office space, this person will also serve as a key collaborator in developing and carrying out our hybrid community and connection strategy to keep our team connected, with the opportunity to work closely with our leaders as we continue to evolve our office experience that encourages consistent use of our space while continuing to evolve and measure the success of our recently implemented hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full scope of the office experience bringing innovative ideas to make the team’s experience efficient and memorable; propose and execute unique solutions.
- Align and collaborate with operational partners and functional teams to ensure an efficient, productive execution of team and company events, on-sites and new program implementation
- Oversee all on-site logistics, acting as point person for NYC-based events, onboarding, and partnering with teams across the organization in delivering virtual and hybrid events
- Develop and lead in-office programming to deliver consistent community and connection
- Deliver office operations and service excellence, applying a customer-driven approach to create and manage policies and guidelines that enhance and improve an exceptional people and workplace experience
- Influence stakeholders successfully, including executive leaders to drive and present new ideas
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors and other team members.
- Drive execution of company and team level OKR’s and KPI’s supporting company engagement
- Oversee financial planning and tracking of expenses to ensure adherence to operating budgets.
- Point of contact with the building to manage bookings such as vendor approvals, COI’s, loading dock reservations and freight.
- Must be comfortable and willing to set up and breakdown company events, including those after working hours.
- Willing and available to work full time from our New York City headquarters.
- Other duties as necessary to ensure day to day office efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of office management and operations, with an emphasis on experience required.
- Prior experience with mentorship and people management
- Strategic, collaborative, and creative thinker who is passionate about creating opportunities for community and connection with the ability to envision the big-picture.
- Experience negotiating contracts with vendors and service providers.
- You work with curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset, comfortable in a dynamic, and fast paced work environment
- You have a passion for workplace experience and operations, an eye for detail and you are resourceful, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
- Stellar interpersonal skills and willingness to build relationships across teams and functional areas internally and externally.
- Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience or comfort with learning collaboration suite that includes Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides,and Zoom a plus
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $102,000 - $120,000
- This role is also equity eligible
