As a People Partner, you’ll provide friendly and welcoming HR support to our HR Business Partners, business leaders and employees by being approachable, action-oriented and a flexible problem solver.
You’ll work alongside our Global HR Business Partners and collaborate with business leaders to understand their broader strategic objectives and determine relevant talent management strategies that drive performance, promote the culture and make Shutterstock a great place to work!
The day to day:
Client Relationships:
Work with the HR Business Partners to own the people strategy for specific client groups while maintaining a deep understanding of the client’s strategic people goals and key initiatives
Develop effective relationships with leaders and employees to provide coaching and influence people matters
Collaborate with the HR Business Partners & clients to design organizational structures, job roles and talent management processes to drive organizational strategy
Systems and Processes:
Help oversee the annual processes including budget planning, calibration, year end conversations, compensation planning, goal setting and quarterly check-ins
Work with Recruitment to oversee the hiring process of roles within specific client groups
Collaborate with our Global People Team to execute programs, processes and standardization that allows for a seamless employee experience
Educate the business on the HR systems, processes and tools they can leverage
Create self-service solutions for business leaders and employees to leverage
Coordinate a variety of ad hoc support tasks, including managing Workday processes, to help drive administrative workflow
Data & Insights:
What you’ll bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in an HRBP role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Strong consulting skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as needs change
Desire to take on new and unfamiliar tasks and assignments
Proficiency in Google Suite specifically Google Sheets and Google Slides
Proven track record of handling large data sets with the ability to analyze and provide insights

The compensation package offered may vary depending on employment experience, skills, and knowledge. You may also be eligible for our generous benefits package including health, wellness and financial benefits. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors.
The pay range for this position is below:
- 125,000 - 140,000 per year in New York
Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
