People Partner

We want to make Ribbon the best career decision anyone has ever made - and we need to scale our People programs to achieve our goal. We’re looking for an energetic People leader who is excited at the prospect of developing, launching and implementing thoughtful, inclusive, and effective people programs. This role will require you to build strong partnerships with leaders to help a quickly growing organization mature its approach in the People space. If you’re looking to build foundational partnerships with leaders and enjoy moving quickly for maximum impact, this role will provide that opportunity.

What we're looking for in this role

  • Balanced Problem Solving: You have a track record of identifying, raising, and driving creative solutions affecting the business; are scrappy and thrive in a rapidly changing environment with finite resources; can remain flexible when navigating and resolving complex People challenges; have experience balancing the needs of the employee with the needs of the business
  • Foundational Scope & Impact: You have seen what good looks like in the business partnering space and have contributed to high functioning People teams; you proactively search for opportunities to add efficiency within and beyond your core responsibilities; consistently create value while supporting yourself and others; highly organized and capable of prioritizing effectively; and constantly identify areas where the organization can be more effective and drive better outcomes.
  • Proactive Communication & Collaboration: You have the ability to convey complex messages and articulate multiple perspectives effectively across a variety of settings in different mediums; can build trust across audiences in the interest of creating alignment and constructively resolve differences; work collaboratively across teams of varying size, scope, and complexity
  • Inspiring Leadership: You have directly or indirectly led teams and demonstrate the ability to adapt, increase your capacity to learn, and adopt new skills; have a willingness to develop and mentor others; and can effectively manage change and complex dynamics with vision and strategy.

Your day-to-day

  • Develop, launch and implement people programs across the scope of the entire People function, focused on making Ribbon the best career decision anyone (including you) has ever made
  • Build strong partnerships with leaders and people managers to understand their strategy, pain points and organizational design needs and how we can help them
  • Coach business leaders and team members across various aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Partner with the business to deliver our overall People, DEI and Talent Management strategies
  • Work on special projects with our leaders to build inspiring and effective people practices that enable Ribbon to be the best career decision anyone has ever made
