Reporting to the Director of People Operations, the People Systems Manager (PSM) is responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management for the development of a cost-effective people systems management while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the People organization. Responsible for analyzing and directing all functional related activities within the scope of the PSM. This position is accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization. Additionally, this position requires a high degree of collaboration and project leadership. The ideal candidate will be able to work cohesively across all levels of the organization and be a culture carrier for the technical change initiatives within the People Org.

What You'll Do:

    • Lead the PSM initiatives in managing the day-to-day activities to support the people systems and other interrelated functions.
    • Foster and maintain positive relationships with PSM constituents, including senior leaders and the people teams
    • Serve as an interface between internal/external customers and the functional team members to ensure effective definition and delivery of PSM applications.
    • Promote proactive approaches using the PSM to solve business needs/problems while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the PSM capabilities. Based on business needs, negotiate priorities and support requirements with the IT department, functional staff at the field locations, and others as appropriate.
    • Plan, budget, and forecast PSM needs and applications. Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future PSM functionality.
    • When apprised, the PSM manager will review impending business issues directly impacting the PSM and provide senior management with an assessment of the PSM impact, scheduling considerations, and other information required for a complete business case.

Who you are:

    • Demonstrated success and working knowledge of various PSM software applications and products.
    • HRIS systems, Zendesk, ADP, etc.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (human resources or computer science) plus 7 or more years of relevant experience or the combination of education and experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position.
