GoHenry is a London and New York-based fintech company that pioneered the youth fintech and financial education category. GoHenry offers a debit card and app for kids and teens and companion apps for the family, with in-app tools for sending money, automating allowance, managing chores, setting savings goals, giving to charity, and in-app financial education lessons where kids can watch videos, take quizzes and earn points & badges. This is all designed to help kids and teens build good money habits that will last a lifetime.

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven People Team Administrator to join our team and help us with our rapid growth across multiple countries. Our people are our greatest asset. Responsibilities

As a People Team Administrator, you will be part of the People Team based in our Lymington office Monday -Friday (complete with our office dog) and you will focus on the day-to-day administrative and operational services to support the teams.

  • Be the first point of contact for all new starters and existing employees for all queries regarding their onboarding process and general employment questions
  • Pre-employment security checks and occupational health paperwork and right-to-work processing.
  • Monitoring probationary periods and performance review cycles for all reporting managers
  • Preparing reference requests, Visa support letters, and changes to terms and conditions
  • Supporting the People Partners with the recruiting process
  • Maintaining personnel records
  • Ensuring accuracy and management of all HR systems
  • International expansion: create and coordinate country-specific policies, procedures & employee handbook, benefits enrolment, coordinating visas & re-location, and more;
  • Prepare HR documents
  • Prepare reports and presentations relating to HR
  • Arrange travel, accommodations, and process expense forms
  • Employee engagement: work with the wider HR team to launch/manage initiatives to increase employee wellbeing, interaction and involvement between teams, and managing communications around them
  • Assist with HR projects - job fair events and company parties
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work and support to the rest of the People Team as and when required
  • Ordering of stationery and office supplies
  • Payroll administration

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with change as a constant companion
  • Ability to self-manage and use initiative to prioritise tasks and manage high volumes of work at short notice, whilst remaining calm under pressure

You’ve been where we’re about to go:

  • Strong verbal and written communication especially in employee relations
  • Experience of Workable and Bob systems preferred but not essential
  • Highly responsible, reliable, with integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different work situations
  • Appreciation of managing sensitive/confidential information

As a person, you are a self-starter who is motivated to kick start your own projects, welcomes challenges, seeks feedback from others, asks “how can I help” and then “how can we make this better”, shows perseverance on long-term goals, and generally goes above and beyond in their work.
