Journeyman Electrician

This position is contingent based on contract award.Responsibilities• The HVE shall be “on-call” 24/7 to support the NGA Washington Electrical System.• The Contractor is not required to have back-up identified for the HVE.QualificationsThe following minimum qualifications should be met and maintained during the performance of this contract:• National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) Electrical Power Testing Level II Certification b. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace Certification c. OSHA ten hour and 30-hour Construction Safety Certification d. American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level I Infrared Thermography Certification e. Demonstrated experience with: 1. Square D Equipment such as P24 Switch Gear, VR MV Breakers, and Master Pack Breakers 2.
