Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years’ experience or high school diploma/GED with 12+ years’ experience.• U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.• Experience as Scrum Master with in-depth knowledge of delivering projects/tasks to the Customer.• Strong knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies, and JIRA workflow management system.• Experience with scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control managementPreferred Qualifications:• Experience with creating dashboards and/or metrics with Jira/Confluence.• Knowledge of AWS or AWS GovCloud & native AWS administrative tools and dashboards.• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills• Experience with cloud computing service including enterprise architecture, application planning, and deployment• Experience with providing data driven metrics at customer and stakeholder engagements that lead to solution driven development and completion of tasks• Client facing experience managing, coaching, and mentoring teams.• Experience aligning multiple teams with different agile methodologies to ensure a quality software product and customer satisfactionPeraton is seeking a Senior Agile Coach to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in McLean/Herndon, VA (remote accepted). The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program, for the US Coast Guard (CG). This initiative is modernizing and consolidating the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CGs customers. As part of the modernization program, the Senior Agile Coach will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Scrum process from initiation through delivery to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget.About You:• You want to make tomorrow better than today with user centric design and development.• You have a passion for high-speed and highly automated security posture management, and you care about risk management over compliance.• You believe the biggest vulnerability in any system is time. Also enjoy cultivating others and functioning in a servant leader capacityDay to Day Work Responsibilities:• Serve as liaisons between the product owner, O&M team, cross functional teams, and management to ensure all targets and requirements are included in the release.• Coach the team on how to self-organize and plan work into enabling features and stories along program increments and sprints• Remove individual and team impediments and guide the team to remove impediments• Outline and prioritize work based on program initiatives and business value.• Coordinate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget• Maintain product backlog and facilitate productivity by removing impediments, resolving conflicts, and constantly seeking efficient and effective process improvement.• Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes.• Ensure process standardization of all Scrum events to include but not limited to: Sprint Planning Meetings, Daily Stand-up Meetings, Reviews and Retrospectives.• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters within the program to share knowledge and best practices.• Teach technical teams basic to advanced Agile concepts including Epic and User Story creation, Scrum, best practices and tools.#USCGIMS
