Required Qualifications:• Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience. Additional of 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree• 8+ years of experience in software development.• Strong technical skills in software development using one or more of the following languages: Java, J2EE, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML/CSS/JavaScript using REST API, Service Oriented Architecture, Spring/Hibernate, XML, etc.• Experience with AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, Git, Jenkins, EC2, Step Function, S3, SNS, SQS, ECS/EKS etc.• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.• Experience with all phases of software development including system analysis, design, development, and testing using a variety of technologies.• Experience with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.• Experience with Linux operating systems, databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle and application/web servers such as WebLogic, JBoss or Apache Tomcat.• Ability to develop applications supported on-prem and in the cloud, including understanding application dependency on operating system, network, web-based, and cloud technologies.• Review security findings and remediate security vulnerability.• Assist with security documentation.• Engage with other teams to accomplish tasks.• Must have US Citizenship.• Must have an active Secret Security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:• AWS Certified Developer Associate• Designing, implementing, and maintaining containerized architectures.• Working with Kubernetes and/or Docker services.• Self-sufficient individual with 2 years in a lead role.Benefits:At Peraton, our benefits are designed to help keep you at your best beyond the work you do with us daily. Peraton is looking for a Full Stack Developer. The qualified candidate will join our highly performing team supporting the FinCEN Program. This is fulltime remote except for 4 hours of onboarding in Vienna, VA.What you will do:• Plans, directs, and coordinates all activities associated with creating software across multiple functional areas and products.• Directs software development projects to include, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to quality standards,• Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.• Responsible for planning and migrating a J2EE application into AWS cloud.• Design and define core technologies for a web application and supporting systems to migrate to cloud.• Formulate and define system scope, objectives, and detailed specifications.• Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software and containerized architectures in cloud and on-prem environments.• Maintain technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of analysis and development.• Re-engineer existing application to use cloud services.• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions.• Support integration planning and interface management by documenting internal and external interface requirements and dependencies.
