Candidate will work within a Government - Contractor team performing multiple projects concurrently. A successful candidate must be a self-starter able to communicate with multiple teams, set and adjust priorities and schedules, and deliver results per schedule.

In this role, you’ll dive into the fascinating world of structural acoustics research, supporting the US Navy's mission at the NSWCCD Carderock Division. You will engage with cutting-edge Finite Element Modeling and Finite Element Analysis tools, working on complex naval structures that play a crucial role in our nation’s security. Your day-to-day activities will revolve around generating and testing FEM model meshes, running FEA tools, and collaborating closely with government Subject Matter Experts to analyze results effectively. Being a part of a dynamic Government-Contractor team means that you'll be juggling multiple projects while setting and adjusting priorities as needed. This role requires a self-starter mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality results on schedule. If you have a strong background in Finite Element Modeling and are proficient in tools like COMSOL, ANSYS, or Abaqus, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Math and possess relevant experience, including a DoD SECRET Clearance.
