Service Desk Lead (Service Request Module Specialist)

Peraton is seeking a Service Request Module Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) Program, for the US Coast Guard (CG). This initiative is modernizing and consolidating the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CGs customers. Qualified applicants will work with the SRM engineers to develop and implement new and updated SRM templatesDay to Day Work Responsibilities:• Create and update SRM templates to enhance end user experience• Maintain internal workflow for incidents and workorders• Identify ways to improve automation and ticket handling procedures• Maintain information on user facing SharePoint portal• Maintain support groups within SRM and identify areas of improvement through addition or subtraction of groups.#USCGIMSSalary: up to $70k to $85k W2 AnnualBasic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ experience or Master’s degree and 3 years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 9 years experience• U.S. Citizenship required; Secret (or higher) clearance required• Comfortable communicating with customers including Peraton and Client leadership• Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with Client• Experience in data analytics• Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines• Add and remove permissions to support groups• Experience with BMC Remedy and Helix toolsPreferred Qualifications:• 5+ years of proven experience in a heavy customer focus position involving technical knowledge and services• ITIL foundation certification or familiarity with ITIL methodologies and best practices• Industry-specific certification may be requiredIf you are interested, please respond to this email soonest.Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearExperience:• Help desk: 4 years (Preferred)• Windows: 4 years (Preferred)Security clearance:• Secret (Required)Ability to Commute:• St. Louis, MO (Required)Ability to Relocate:• St. Louis, MO: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
