Windows Active Directory Engineer

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring an Active Directory (AD) Systems Administrator, Community of Excellence (COE), Senior-level (Operations)in technical designs and support of large Enterprise Active Directory environments and the associated Microsoft product line and services supporting our program in one of 2 locations, Hanscom AFB, MA or Langley AFB, VA.

  

What you'll do:

 

  • Work with Migration team leader to support Community of Excellence (COE) requests.
  • Assist with Operations and Migration requests in tasks like; complete the Discovery and Implementation phase of AD migrations, and assist with Analysis and Design Phase of the migration of account solutions across the 180+ USAF Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) bases.
  • Perform an in-depth discovery of each in-scope Air Force (AF) Major Command (MAJCOM) Active Directory (AD) Domain and Application systems to document current configurations, potential risks, level of effort and identify point of contacts (POC) for each MAJCOM and associated AF Bases. Also create in-depth documentation of the client source domains to capture detailed configuration needed to perform successful analysis and create design for implementation. 
  • Support Daily Migration Activities; LDAP integration, Certificates, Group Policy Admin, Domain Controller deployment and support, custom schema extensions, ADFS, PKI, and DNS, user login scripts.
  • Provide Migration and Active Directory expert support to the Migration and Operations Teams
  • Support the Program Manager: provide input to Operational projects, Migration plans, schedules, troubleshooting, strategies and USAF customer meetings
  • Collaborate with the USAF to support, prep and Migrate AD users, groups and endpoints

Qualifications

8 years with a BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, 3 years with PhD, in lieu of degree, 12 years of applicable experience will be acceptable.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
