Job DescriptionWe currently have a career opportunity for a Benefits Coordinator to join our team located in St. Louis, MO. (Hybrid role)Administers and supports employee qualified leave of absence programs such as medical leaves, short and long-term disability, and Family Medical Leave Administration.Perficient is always looking for the best and brightest talent and we need you! You’ll work with the latest technologies, expand your skills, and become a part of our global community of talented, diverse, and knowledgeable colleagues.Responsibilities• Processes, monitors and tracks leave of absence requests from the employee’s initial notice of the need for leave to the return to work. This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use in coordination with our third-party vendors.• Maintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws to ensure compliance with company policies and leave documentation.• Ensures effective communication with employees on leave to support a seamless and timely return to work, in collaboration with the employee’s manager and HR business partner.• Works with payroll administration to ensure employees are paid appropriately while out on leave.• Ensures the strict confidentiality and secure handling of all employee medical records and documentation.Qualifications• Associate’s degree in Human Resources or Business• 2 Years of experience preferred• Preferred Certification: CLMS Certified Leave Management Specialist• Knowledge of the leave requirements and other legal protections afforded by the FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Analytical and problem-solving skills.• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Perficient full-time employees receive complete and competitive benefits.
