Wovens Designer

Perry Ellis International is seeking a talented Wovens Designer to join our creative team. The Designer will be responsible for the full design process from concept to production, ensuring the consistency of our products with market trends and business strategies.

Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, color, sewing techniques, graphics, and trim
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to present design ideas effectively

Responsibilities

Participate in product line conceptual development
Conduct market research and create design concepts
Collaborate with various departments to ensure communication of design information
Research trends for color, print, silhouette, fabric, and trim
Create presentation boards, sketches, and design selling tools
Attend fittings and update designs post-fittings
Work on PLM packages and ensure accurate design assets

Education

Bachelor's degree in Design
