We’re focused on purpose-driven work, and strongly believe what’s good for pets, people and our planet is good for Petco.Essential Job FunctionsThe partner must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommod• ation:Responsible for identifying and analyzing project opportunities; mitigating, accepting or eliminating project risks; determining project execution approach (e.g., Agile, traditional, hybrid); developing and reviewing project scope and timelines; preparing and reviewing time and resource estimates; facilitating project meetings, directing and coordinating activities of project personnel, and developing and distributing project and financial r• eports.Develops and implements recommendations to improve technology project management policies, guidelines, techniques, practices, sta• ndards.Confers with project personnel to identify and coordinate problem reso• lution.Responsible for ensuring that information technology project management activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, standards and guid• elines.Negotiates, coordinates, signs and maintains contracts with third-party information technology project management service providers (e.g., contractors, ve• ndors).Provides supervision to assigned staff including activities such as hiring, counseling, guiding, training and delivery of disciplinary processes as required. Provides training and guidance and assigns tasks to contractors; provides performance feedback on contractors.Education/Ex• perienceBachelor of Science degree or eq• uivalent.5 years as a Scrum Master or an Agile project manager for a software developm• ent team.5 years of traditional project management ex• perience.2 years of experience managing information technology• projects.2 years of experience configuring Jira and/or Trello project managementsoftware.Note: Current responsibilities are impacted by company and team priorities that may have evolved from what is displayed in the Workday job profile.
