Billing Specialist

Job TitleBilling SpecialistJob DescriptionYour role:• Performing reimbursement services and charge entry in accounts receivable operations.• Entering demographic and charge information to bill claims to payors, verifying insurance eligibility via online portals and resolving claim rejections from insurance providers.• Identifying and bringing reoccurring issues to the attention of leadership.• Following internal processes as well as meeting or exceeding monthly quality and productivity standards.You're the right fit if:• You’ve acquired 1+ years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable.• Your skills include strong knowledge and understanding of insurance/insurance verification and payers (required). You have the ability to type, navigate the internet and perform computerized note taking, while processing in multiple internal systems.• You have a high school diploma or GED (required), bachelor’s degree (preferred).• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.• You’re a strong verbal and written communicator and have proven customer service skills with internal/external partners.About PhilipsWe are a health technology company.
