About Clinical Solutions
The Clinical Solutions Division uses industry-leading content to create a wide variety of services (Clinical Decision Support at the Point of Care, Competency Development, Patient Engagement products). Our products and tools aid in disease management, medication error reductions, effective patient management, economic analysis, and cost control. We provide an extensive suite of enterprise solutions to healthcare providers nationwide.
About the Role
The Physician Executive is a senior leader representing Elsevier Clinical Solutions in North America and will be responsible for leading and supporting physicians and advanced practice providers during implementation and post-implementation activities. They will be skilled in informatics, sales, and go-to-market strategies with a passion for ensuring customer success.
Responsibilities:
  • As the physician implementation subject matter expert for customer success, lead and provide in depth support for physicians and advanced practice providers during implementation and post-implementation activities
  • Serve as a physician executive sponsor for strategic customer accounts as needed
  • Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate virtual and in-person physician and advanced practice provider onboarding for clinical solutions
  • Identify health system change management needs and opportunities, create change management strategies and plans for customers resulting in customer success
  • Provide support for customer success implementation and engagement processes, including but not limited to project planning, virtual and onsite visits, EHR integration activities and customer informatics alignment
  • Drive internal alignment for customer accounts through Salesforce utilization, asset development, and project closure activities
  • Meet with Health System officials, Hospital officials, and other key stakeholders in large group, small group, and one-on-one forums to introduce and drive sales, implementation, and renewal opportunities
  • Working together with marketing and PR teams, provide professional presentations to healthcare stakeholder audiences and present at key conferences and smaller invitation-only events to senior audiences
  • Create thought leadership white papers, articles and other pieces relating to healthcare and Elsevier Clinical Solutions
  • Partner with leaders across the clinical team to support the voice of the customer
  • Coach, mentor and support clinical team members to also act as clinical thought-leaders
  • Support product and other teams with clinical insights and network to continue to advance our suite of offerings
Requirements:
  • MD or DO
  • Experience in Electronic Health Record and/or product implementations
  • At least 5 years recent clinical experience
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Extensive formal and informal presentation experience
  • Collaborative work ethic
  • Peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed experience (preferably to include lay media)
  • Experience in use and deployment of a variety of CDS solutions (reference solutions, order sets, patient engagement, etc.)
Preferred:
  • Recognized as a “Thought Leader” in the healthcare reform space
  • Board certification
  • Experience working with Marketing Teams in market awareness activities
  • Multi-year work experience in a recognized healthcare institution and/or system
Other Relevant Information
  • This position can be based out of most US metropolitan areas with easy access to a major airport
  • This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Commercial, Clinical Solutions
