Platform Operations Engineer

Pico provides exceptional market data services and customized managed infrastructure solutions for the global capital markets. We are looking for a Platform Operations Engineer to design and deliver server, storage, and trading platforms for our clients.

Skills

Linux/Unix expertise
Bash and Python scripting
Network services knowledge
Storage solutions experience
Virtualization (VMWare/KVM) familiarity

Responsibilities

Design and deploy global client server solutions
Work with clients and internal teams on system issues
Ensure stability of managed platforms
Support deployment and maintenance of server and storage products
Participate in an on-call rotation for support escalations

Education

RHCE certified or equivalent knowledge
3 years in large scale solutions
2 years with Intel-based hardware
