GAAP Controller
Pie Insurance empowers small businesses by transforming the way they buy and experience commercial insurance. As a key member of the Accounting & Finance team, the GAAP Controller will lead and shape Pie’s accounting team, driving efficiency and compliance in financial operations.
Skills
- Strong experience in GAAP accounting.
- Proficient in accounting software tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
Responsibilities
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Manage quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Prepare U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements.
- Oversee accounting/business operations and SOX compliance.
- Drive process improvement and efficiency.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
