Job Description

The purpose of this job is to provide support for distribution operations as well as initiating continuous improvement within the merchandising department.

  1. Support the Distribution team with project reports and initiatives
  2. Support the Merchandising & Deli teams with product rollouts and initiatives
  3. Work with distributor to execute product flow in support of merchandising and deli initiatives; implement solutions and action plans to achieve optimum results
  4. Utilize data and reporting systems to research, identify and create action plans for supply chain solutions
  5. Support distribution team to obtain favorable solutions to contractual obligations
  6. Provide telephone and email support to troubleshoot store level questions and issues related to the distributor
  7. Model behaviors that support the our purpose driven strategy, showing people they matter at every turn
  8. Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  9. Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree with a concentration in retail, or business preferred
  • Minimum one year retail store, merchandising or restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with a diverse work team
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and situational analysis skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize based upon immediate or long-term needs of the category
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
