About the Role
This role is a remote, part-time, temporary position as a maternity leave replacement - March-July, 10-20 hours a week.
This position has two main objectives - managing U.S. visa applications, including handling any needed forms, and communication with our lawyers; and responding to employee questions regarding U.S. benefits This role will report to the Director of People and will support all employees in the Americas.
Skills, Behaviors, and Experience:
An all-around good human who treats others with kindness, has high emotional intelligence, and a modern approach to HR
A minimum of 5 years in an HR role with depth of experience in visa application management
Experience responding to US employee benefits inquiries
A customer-service mindset and a strong internal drive to create great employee experiences
A natural ability to build trust with employees and to build relationships with colleagues in other functional areas
A strong work ethic and sense of urgency
Experience handling confidential information
A Bachelor’s Degree
