At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.Vice President, Demand Generation (Americas)Role Overview:As the Vice President of Americas Demand Generation, you will be pivotal in shaping and driving the demand generation strategy across the US, Canada, and Latin America. With a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, you will lead a diverse team responsible for field marketing, partner marketing, digital marketing, and campaign execution. Your leadership will be essential in propelling growth and achieving revenue targets through innovative and effective demand generation strategies.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Demand Generation Leadership:• Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation plan tailored to the Americas region, aligning with Ping Identity's overarching business goals and revenue objectives.• Own and optimize demand generation efforts across multiple channels within the Americas, including field marketing, partner marketing, digital marketing, and campaign execution.• Influence and collaborate on regional campaign strategy and design, ensuring successful execution in the field.• Drive innovative approaches to demand generation, including account-based marketing (ABM), to enhance regional pipeline creation and lead generation.• Oversee the entire demand generation funnel within the Americas, from lead acquisition through qualification to pipeline development.Pipeline Ownership:• Take responsibility for regional pipeline metrics & end to end funnel, optimizing demand generation programs to enhance pipeline velocity and conversion rates.• Align pipeline generation & pipeline progression efforts with regional sales account segmentation and ARR goals to build an efficient pipeline generation machine.• Take command of the pipeline to identify pipeline opportunities and gaps & collaborate with sales to quickly pivot & remediateCross-Functional Collaboration:• Partner closely with regional sales and go-to-market leadership teams to gain insights into market dynamics and customer needs, playing a strategic role in driving revenue growth.• Collaborate with pipeline-driving leaders from sales development and channel/alliances functions to ensure a unified demand generation plan & strategy.• Work in tandem with other marketing functions, such as Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Marketing Operations, leveraging their expertise to drive demand and pipeline generation in the Americas.Data-Driven Leadership:• Partner with marketing and sales operations to rigorously review and analyze pipeline data, identifying what works and areas for improvement.• Continuously optimize for performance, efficiency, and scale• Utilize core marketing and sales tools (e.g., CRM, Marketo, intent data platforms, Tableau) for data insights and reporting.• Manage and optimize the Americas demand generation budget, ensuring maximum return on investment (ROI) for both programs and headcount.• Create process & leverage tools & AI to accelerate time to market & achieve scaleTeam Leadership:• Empower and guide regional demand generation leaders to align strategies and campaigns with localized sales and market needs.• Lead and inspire a high-performing team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.• Proven track record (10+ years) of success in demand generation leadership roles within the enterprise/technology sector.• Extensive experience in managing multi-faceted demand generation functions (field, partner, digital, campaign) across a diverse region.• Demonstrated ability to lead in a global or multi-regional context, with a strong understanding of regional market requirements and go-to-market strategies.• Proficiency with marketing and sales data and reporting tools.• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.• Openness to AI adoption and driving associated change management• Exceptional analytical skills, with the capability to derive actionable insights from data and make data-driven decisions.• High sense of urgency and a commitment to continuous improvement.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization.• Willingness to travel as needed for demand generation and go-to-market events.Base Hiring Range:In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above.
