SCRUM Master*

Location: fort Belvoir

Required Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance

Certifications: DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience

Description

PingWind is seeking a Scrum Master who is responsible for facilitating and promoting effective Agile practices within the development team. This role involves guiding the team through the Scrum framework, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, and removing impediments to enhance productivity and collaboration. The Scrum Master works closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products on time.

Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

· Five years of experience working with software developers and customers to scope projects, estimate levels of effort, and evaluate customer requirements to create applications to deploy to Microsoft SharePoint (both out- of-the-box and with custom coded) and to Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) using the Microsoft .NET Framework.

· Three years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures.

· Five years of experience with the SDLC and Agile processes.

· Three + years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.

· Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

· Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Experience with other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).

· Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).

· Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
