We’re looking for someone to join our Global Brand & Creative Solutions team and help our Retail advertisers create world-class creative on Pinterest. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of US Retail Creative Strategy, the Associate Creative Strategist will be responsible for providing horizontal creative and brand strategy support across our Fashion, Home, Specialty, Mass Market and Grocery lines of business. The role provides the unique opportunity for individuals with art direction/design backgrounds to break into the tech industry and transform into a multidisciplinary creative and strategic professional. You’ll be a top-notch creative and strategic thinker eager to learn new skill sets and help brands create great advertising experiences for Pinners. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with senior creative strategists and sales teams to develop world-class campaigns on Pinterest
  • Design and pitch innovative creative strategies that inspire and engage
  • Provide consultative reviews and enhancements of existing campaigns
  • Create and distribute creative content and resources that empower over 150+ internal sales partners
  • Adapt to varying styles and depths of work across a large and diverse sector of brands

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience with an agency, platform or brand
  • Background in art direction or design to develop compelling creative mockups for prospective campaign ideas and events; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva 
  • Candidates with a breadth and diversity of experiences, educational backgrounds, and perspectives are encouraged to apply
  • An adaptable mindset willing and eager to take on a wide variety of assignments, with the capacity to juggle them concurrently with prioritization support from their manager
  • Able to communicate ideas verbally and through presentations in a clear, concise, and compelling way to internal and external stakeholders
  • Someone with a skills-building mindset open to honing strategy or creative execution skills 
  • A keen eye and aptitude for visual communication to develop strong pitch decks and collateral
  • A passion for, and experience influencing, visually-led, business-driving creative work

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 3-4 times per month and as needed, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from one of the following offices: Chicago, Illinois.
