DescriptionThe Threat Intelligence Analyst is responsible for leveraging threat intelligence to identify, comprehend, and decipher emerging threats. This role involves closely monitoring indicators of compromise (IOC) and taking appropriate remediation actions. You will be part of a dynamic team addressing critical cybersecurity challenges, gaining valuable experience in threat intelligence and analysis while contributing to the safety of our digital environment.Skills• Proficient in the Threat Intelligence Lifecycle• Ability to document outcomes into Threat Briefing summaries• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities• Familiarity with computer networking concepts and security methodologies• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) log analysis• Ability to analyze and collect open-source intelligence (OSINT) from various sourcesResponsibilities• Conduct multi-source intelligence monitoring and processing to meet stakeholder Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs)• Gather, analyze, and act upon malicious indicators of compromise (IOCs)• Provide timely threat intelligence briefings on imminent threats or hostile activities• Create regular threat intelligence reports based on analytical findings• Analyze tactics, techniques, and procedures to identify detection coverage and threat hunting opportunities• Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to address potential security issues• Deliver targeted intelligence to support cyber incident resolution effortsQualifications• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence Triage and Analysis• Proven experience creating actionable threat intelligence reports and threat actor profiles• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesEducation Requirements• High School Diploma or GED required• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldEducation Requirements Credential Category• High School or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not requiredExperience Requirements• At least 3 years of relevant experience in threat intelligence analysis• Experience in threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and threat actor profiles is desiredWhy work in Bismarck, NDBismarck, ND, is known for its friendly community and strong economy, providing a great quality of life.
