Responsibilities

The PJT Partners’ team responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis and Strategic Initiatives is adding an Analyst to support the breadth of the team’s deliverables. This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact, dynamic position with exposure across a broad suite of corporate activities.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Support strategic decision-making through reporting and analysis, with a focus on company-wide financial planning;
• Prepare executive reporting materials and presentations to summarize results and assess business outlook;
• Build and refine financial models for budgeting, forecasting and planning initiatives;
• Create various internal and external analyses, including market, competitive and industry;
• Drive modernization of reporting and analytics through technology platforms (Anaplan & Workday);
• Support initiatives through business partnering, while developing and maintaining relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, analytical, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other related field;
• Approximately 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience;
• Exceptional intellectual curiosity with proven capability to problem-solve strategically using advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical skills;
• Experience in reading and analyzing complex financial statements;
• Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders;
• High level of competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Expected annualized base salary of $80,000 to $90,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
