Business Development Representative (m/ f / x)

Plan A has set itself the ambitious goal to support businesses around the globe to decarbonise and deliver on their climate objectives, using science and technology. We offer a software for decarbonisation and ESG reporting capabilities, that enables businesses of the likes of BMW, Mollie, Sorare, GANNI, Chloé and N26, to successfully manage their net zero journey. At Plan A, you’ll work with large, global companies to help them understand and reduce their carbon footprint. With strong traction in the enterprise market, we’re looking for a driven, proactive Business Development Representative excited to work across diverse territories and markets. How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead the research, mapping and prioritisation of target enterprise accounts
  • Own and manage your pipeline of leads & accounts
  • Engage with enterprise prospects via phone, email & LinkedIn to build relationships and actively nurture promising prospects
  • Gain a fine understanding of our, product, offer and value proposition to be able give tailored presentations in different contexts
  • Actively analyse the KPIs and data resulting from your pipeline to take up measures for further improvement & identify best practices to share with the team
  • Collaborate with our Marketing and your local Sales teams on lead quality and conversion as well as the identification of new business development opportunities
  • Grow into local sustainability & market expert and act as trusted resource for internal and external contacts
  • Previous experience as a SDR or BDR in a B2B SaaS environment is ideal
  • Experience in a client-facing role in complex project delivery or sustainability/climate tech, with a strong interest in pursuing a sales career.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An open-minded team player, striving to drive success for the wider team as well as yourself
  • Highly motivated with a positive, creative & fearless approach to your work
  • Data, target-driven growth mentality with an ability to work in a high energy sales environment
  • Independent mindset as well as strong personal organisation skills to manage priorities & time effectively
  • Fluency English, German would be ideal

What Makes You Stand Out (Optional)

  • Prior experience in SaaS sales / outbound engagement / Enterprise sales
  • Experience using Hubspot or other CRM systems & related software
  • Prior experience in a fast paced scaling environment
  • Local market knowledge and/or network
