WHO WE ARE
Planned Parenthood Association of Utah (PPAU) is a non-profit family planning agency and a leader in sexual and reproductive healthcare, advocacy, and education in the state of Utah. We provide high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care for Utahns/people in eight health centers across the state.

Position Summary:
Develops and leads Students United for Reproductive Freedom (SURF) group at Utah State University in order to promote awareness and activism around sexual and reproductive health and rights. Responsibilities include: formal registration and recognition as campus group; holding regular membership meetings; group development; organizing a wide range of campus activities; maintaining a consistent group presence on campus; and effectively communicating messages around sexual and reproductive health, rights and freedom to support the mission and advocacy work of Planned Parenthood Association of Utah and Planned Parenthood Action Council of Utah.
To promote success in the position, SURF Presidents will receive training in a variety of areas, including: advocacy & organizing; political messaging; cross movement work, outreach; program evaluation; and on-going professional development opportunities tailored to the President’s interests and goals.

SURF presidents will receive a stipend of up to $2,000 per semester based on hours worked.
