The Planning & Execution Director is responsible for ensuring activities are streamlined based on the priorities of the CHRO and providing solutions to execute the activity expeditiously. This role is an individual contributor who will lead key HR initiatives and take on core activities, such as project governance, business reporting, risk analysis, dashboard management and budget oversight for our function. This individual will interfaces regularly with the CHRO, HR Leadership Team and Executive Committee (EC) members to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify cross-functional opportunities that don’t have a clear owner and assume ownership to project manage and execute.
  • Track high priority initiatives, identify obstacles and recommend solutions to drive accurate and timely delivery.
  • Build and update a meaningful business scorecard
  • Create and update monthly dashboards to track changes in key metrics.
  • Provide decision support through data gathering, information analyzing and present considerations to relevant stakeholders. To include compiling presentations, ensuring appropriate vendor strategy, etc.
  • Help develop strategic and forward-thinking initiatives.
  • Partner with the CHRO to develop and present quarterly business reviews.
  • Work with the VP of HR to review, tweak, or create strategic visions
  • Partner with business leaders to collaborate and bring robust strategies forward
  • Develop and maintain systems to monitor, measure and report performance and achievement of programs, long-term goals and strategic initiatives that have line-of-business, functional or enterprise impact
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to assess strategic viability
  • Continually improve the strategic planning process where needed to adapt and flex to organizational needs

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR or related field preferred, but not required.
  • HR Certification and/or MBA ideal
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • HR experience highly preferred
  • Ability to develop relationships
  • Critical thinker with a mindset towards growth and embracing ongoing change in various disciplines
  • High level of energy and curiosity
  • Resourcefulness to create clarity while incorporating multiple inputs.
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 07B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
