Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates operates as the Americas Division of Mitsubishi Chemicals’ acrylic monomer business, one of ten business domains crossing a diverse portfolio of businesses within the company. As the global leader, we manufacture and supply acrylic monomers that serve a broad base of downstream applications ranging from architectural and automotive coatings, to adhesives, to various acrylic sheet applications and specialty moldings. - Coordinate documentation for safety inspections and pre-startup safety reviews.
- Schedule and track all safety audits.
- Function as the primary plant interface for several suppliers including the uniform supplier and office goods supplier.
- Contribute to the plant meeting productivity objectives by managing ordering for people related supplies, safety supplies and office materials.
- The MMA area Administrative Assistant must work closely with several different groups within and outside of the immediate organization.
- For example, strong relationships must be established with the: Operations Leader, plant supervisors and plant staff to effectively ensure proper input, updating, and distribution of area documentation as required by Site and corporate EHS standards; Production Assistant and site Administrative Assistant to provide back-up production reporting and payroll support as needed to meet the needs of the business; and Purchasing agents to ensure proper procurement of materials and services in a timely manner, and external vendors to deliver the required services and develop plant improvement opportunities.
- High-school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in an administrative support
- Possess excellent computer and office skills
- Ability to learn, proactive, results-oriented, adaptable, flexible, thorough attention to details
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and make general decisions when necessary
- Possess good people and communication skills to support a diverse work group

The salary range for this position is $52,500 - $58,300. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
