Responsibilities
- Run a cell of injection-molding machines
- Inspect product for proper level of quality, color accuracy, measure parts with gages and record measurements in the online SPC system and color measuring equipment as required
- Assure machines are running at peak efficiency, rate and quality throughout the shift
- Clean, inspect, lubricate and maintain injection mold tooling during the production as required
- Accurately count, box, package, and weigh completed product, accurately record production quantities
- Work accurately within the SAP business system
- Interact continuously with real time production monitoring system
- Work with robotics and other automated equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement events, JDIs and CIs when necessary
- Work as part of a team within the cell to minimize downtime and increase overall OEE1 Maintain 5S standards1
- Adhere to department work instructions and SOE’s to maintain standard work
