Your Job
SRG Global in Evansville, IN is seeking a Plating Technician to join our team. Our technicians are responsible for keeping the electroplating line operating and troubleshooting any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen.

Shift: 6:30pm to 6:30am (In this role you'll work 7 of every 14 days)

Our Team
We work around chemicals in a controlled environment, and engage in technical work from preventative maintenance, to minor electrical or mechanical repairs. Our team prioritizes safety, and creating an environment for growth and innovation.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and maintain the electroplating system and all supporting equipment/processes.

• Purchase parts required for repairs/projects

• Perform work at heights, around hazardous chemicals, confined spaces, etc.

• Perform predictive precision maintenance to identify and correct mechanical/electrical defects before machines fail

• Inspect and perform basic repair on pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems supporting the electroplating process.

• Involve yourself in troubleshooting & scrap focus reduction efforts (cross-sections, A3’s, issue timelines, develop standard responses / actions for scrap issues)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• High School Diploma, GED or higher

• Mechanical and/or maintenance experience

What Will Put You Ahead

• Associate degree or higher in an electrical/mechanical or electro-mechanical field

• Experience working closely with chemicals

For this role, we anticipate paying $25 hourly. Compensation is negotiable based on experience.
