Full Stack Developer (Frontend/Backend)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to take charge of the day-to-day development of Everskies.com, working directly under the guidance of both the CEO of Pocket Worlds and the creator of Everskies. This role offers a unique opportunity to be the sole developer on this project, crafting engaging user experiences and robust backend solutions and running a live product with 200k+ DAU.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the development and maintenance of Everskies.com.
Collaborate closely with both the CEO of Pocket Worlds and the original creator of Everskies to understand vision, requirements, and user feedback.
Develop and optimize front-end features using Angular and ensure seamless integration with backend services.
Design and implement backend services using PHP and Go, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
Manage databases using MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
Integrate and maintain messaging services using RabbitMQ.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure robust, bug-free code.
Monitor, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Keep abreast of new technology developments and suggest adaptations of the tech stack as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio in both frontend and backend development.
Expertise in PHP, Go, Angular, MySQL, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
Passion for creating a user-friendly environment for both team members and customers.
