About the Role
We’re seeking an ambitious Talent Acquisition Lead who can help us double our recruitment velocity and execution. As an expert, you are expected to have the experience, self-confidence, and entrepreneurial drive to hit the ground running and begin delivering results within the first month. This role requires experience at a startup that has scaled from Series A to beyond.

In this role, you are responsible for overseeing our entire talent strategy, building a lean but powerful team, and recruiting for our highest priority roles.
You’ll report directly to the co-founders and act as a partner to them on all things related to Talent Acquisition. The position will be onsite in Austin, Texas, starting July 2024, so applicants in Austin will be preferred.
Here are the skills and qualities we're looking for in our ideal candidate:
7+ years of experience in recruiting or sales for startups.
Experience scaling a startup from Series A to beyond is required.
Experience implementing various sourcing strategies leading to hiring the best industry talent at the fastest speed.
Naturally competitive and not afraid to aggressively push your team to deliver exceptional results.
Play an analytical role in identifying the best metrics to track success as a team.
Experience leveraging AI tools to recruit.
Expert in building strong pipelines and understanding the user (candidate) journey from end to end.
Strong sense of ownership as a full-cycle recruiter and leader to the team.
Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong analytical skills - you break down the recruitment projects in numbers.
Strong bias towards action. You dont wait for something to get done later if it can get done right away.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle many tasks at once.
Receive and act on feedback extraordinarily fast.
Interest in games and previous experience with Ashby ATS and Gem will be a plus.
Experience working in an agency or commission model based pay is a plus.
