About the position and team:

As a Director of Product Management at PointClickCare, you are responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution for the Post Acute product portfolio within the Acute and Payer business unit. This role is pivotal in shaping how post-acute insights and workflows integrate with acute care and payer ecosystems, driving value for health plans, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), and post-acute providers.

You will develop and communicate strategy, priorities, and roadmaps, aligning cross-functionally on outcomes that enhance interoperability, improve care transitions, and support value-based care initiatives. You will lead, coach, and grow a team of product managers while fostering strong partnerships with Engineering, Customer Success, Implementation, and other operational teams to drive successful product execution.

In collaboration with leadership across the company, you will evaluate, prioritize, and execute the most impactful opportunities, balancing new innovations with the continuous improvement of existing products. Your success in this role will draw on your understanding of clinical workflows, regulatory and reimbursement landscapes, and customer needs across the care continuum.

With a track record of building scalable and impactful healthcare products, you will lead teams through discovery and delivery processes, ensuring strong product-market fit and measurable customer outcomes. You take a data-driven, customer-first approach, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution as a player-coach to optimize time to value.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deeply understand and represent the needs of current and future target customers. Lead your team of product managers to create roadmaps and prioritize product investments by making inquisitive, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and good judgement.
  • 3 Create and evangelize a compelling vision and implement a multi-year roadmap to achieve strategic outcomes for your product areas by evolving existing products or creating new market opportunities.
  • 4 Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape, key drivers, issues and players in the market.
  • 5 Lead and support product commercialization and GTM activities, building and managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders including Customers, Sales, Service, Marketing, Development and other Product Managers to define, develop, market, sell and deliver the Product and the Product Value proposition in accordance with the company’s product release process.
  • 7 Initiate and champion change and process improvements. Help teams understand and adapt to change by fostering a continuous improvement culture.
  • 8 Lead, coach, and mentor your team and foster a growth mindset culture to maximize team performance towards company and individual goals.
  • 10 Influences the opinions and decision-making of others internally at the senior and executive level and externally with key stakeholders


Your Key Strengths:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, computer science, or a healthcare-related field of study.  
  • 8+ years experience in Product Management, preferably in healthcare and SaaS business.
  • 3+ year experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Curiosity, passion for understanding customer needs, and with a demonstrable track record delivering software with exceptional user experiences.
  • A strong balance of strategic and tactical skills, and ability to achieve business goals while making difficult tradeoff decisions.
  • High degree of adaptability and experience creating clarity from ambiguity and driving execution. 
  • Excellent listener, communicator, cross-functional leader, natural facilitator, with influencing skills at all levels of the organization, particularly with executive audiences.
  • Ability to represent the company with insight, integrity and confidence while working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic leader with a positive and resilient personality who embraces change and desires continuous iteration and improvement on products and processes.


Bonus Skills:
  • Experience managing and mentoring software product managers preferably with proven ability to grow and mentor others.
  • Solid understanding of Agile practices. Familiarity with Design Thinking is preferred.


$189,000 - $210,000 a year
 
At PointClickCare, base salary is one of the many components that make up our total rewards package. The US base salary range for this position is $189,000 - $210,000 + bonus or commission + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location. Your recruiter can share more information about our total rewards package during the hiring process.
