Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Intermediate Database Analyst to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data migration tasks, ensuring data integrity and optimizing data flow within our systems. This role requires a solid understanding of database management, and ETL tools to support Data Migration engagements

Key Responsibilities:

·      Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data

·       Plan and execute data migration projects, including mapping data from source to target systems. 

·       Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL jobs, ensuring timely data availability.

·       Perform data validation and verification to ensure data integrity and consistency during migrations.

·       Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration requirements and ensure successful data transition.

·       Optimize database performance through query optimization.

·       Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders on ETL and data migration processes.

· Act as an escalation contact for other team members in Technical Services during the project execution process

·       Provide off-hour support approximately 10% of the time. This includes overnight and weekends where necessary.

Required Experience:

·       At least 3 years of experience in Transact SQL/SQL Server/MySQL experience

·       At least 3 years of experience in database analysis, ETL development, and data migration.

·       At least 3 years of experience working in a production environment.

·       Experience with cloud-based data services is desirable.

·       Strong Technical and Business Process Engineering and Management

· Strong leadership and relationship-building capabilities, with the ability to negotiate with and influence others to drive successful project outcomes

· Experience in software automation practices

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.

· Quick learner with strong technical analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to self-manage and work under minimal supervision

·       Must possess the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
