Position will be responsible for:Position SummaryProvides document and file organization from opening of matters to the conclusion. Works closely with Records team members, attorneys, Office Administrators, legal assistance staff and others to ensure all tasks are complete. Position will remotely cover our Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Wilmington offices and will have occasional travel to them for projects.Core Responsibilities• The ability to understand and effectively use the technologies provided; use initiative to apply technologies to new contexts• Matter Maintenance – File creation, indexing/data entry, loose filing, closing procedures• On-boarding and transfer of client files• Customer service – providing assistance and direction• RIM database knowledge, MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel knowledge and other applications• Maintain a team atmosphere• Back up other team members out of the office• All other projects as assignedSuccessful candidates will have 5 years+ of records experience or more (preferably in a large firm setting), ability to lift approximately 50 pounds, and a positive attitude. Must have high attention to detail, high energy, good customer service skills, ability to solve problems, strong organizational skills and be willing to work as part of a team and independently.
