About this Opportunity: 

The Content & Creative Team Lead is where thought leadership meets demand generation and branding. Working hand in hand with teams across the company, this fast-paced, never-a-dull-moment role drives awareness and revenue opportunities through both paid and organic channels while supporting sales enablement and other internal communications. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you would own content and creative planning and roll up your sleeves to deliver alongside your team.    


What's On Your Plate:
  • Define content strategies across digital channels to increase reach and visibility for Popmenu, drive relevant organic traffic to our site (SEO), and increase conversions through our funnel by impacting key points in a buyer’s journey. 
  • From Product and Partnerships to Sales and CX, build trusted relationships with team members across departments to understand business challenges and opportunities, and collaborate on deliverables and timing for content needs.  
  • Create engaging campaigns from concept through production to drive quality leads and upsells, supporting company growth and retention goals.  
  • Produce a steady flow of performant content to communicate Popmenu value drivers and underscore thought leadership: articles, emails, case studies, landing pages, ebooks, ads, interactive experiences, videos, social media content, webinars, presentations and more. 
  • Work with sales and CX leaders to develop enablement assets for their teams.  
  • Build and maintain an active content calendar and associated workflows to ensure deadlines are met and new needs are properly prioritized. 
  • Ensure all marketing content is aligned with Popmenu’s brand standards, keeping an eye on opportunities to enhance the brand and explore new design concepts.
  • Manage and mentor a graphic designer, motion graphic designer, content manager, and contractors, providing guidance and timely feedback. 
  • Hypothesize, test, measure, optimize, and scale our marketing content in partnership with the marketing team. Evolve approach as needed. 


What You Bring to the Table:
  • Perspective - You’re able to place yourself in the shoes of a prospective buyer at any point in the journey and understand what matters most to them and how best to communicate our solution. 
  • Outstanding communication skills - You’re a natural storyteller and have a knack for tapping into the emotional needs of prospects with strong copy. You're also a strong editor with an obsession with detail and an eye for concise, high-impact copy. 
  • Influential leadership skills – You’re able to foster creativity, collaboration and consensus both inside and outside of your area of ownership. 
  • Organizational skills - You’re able to juggle multiple initiatives at once. 
  • Technical skills –You’re comfortable working in systems like Asana, Salesforce, Salesloft, Looker and other tools to set up campaigns and reporting to maximize lead generation and ultimately sales. 
  • SEO Expertise – You’re comfortable and confident in building a content strategy based on keyword research to position Popmenu ahead of competitors – ensuring all content is rooted in keyword data. 
  • Willingness to be hands on - We all have to lean in. This position will create a significant amount of content in partnership with internal and external resources. 
  • A strong sense of curiosity -- the ability to see potential in an idea/product/feature and know how to present that to the ideal audience and convert. 
  • Start-up ready - you have the confidence and problem-solving skills to be effective in situations with limited information. 
  • You have a passion for restaurants, dining out, and helping independent restaurant owners grow their business and solidify their position as staples of our communities. 
  • Sense of humor a plus!

$115,000 - $120,000 a year
At Popmenu we believe in transparency and meeting candidates at eye level. We know that money isn’t everything - but it is important: For this role, we have determined a compensation range of $115k-$120k base to be a fair and attractive offer. We would love the opportunity to meet you and learn more about you and your background, and final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors and may vary from the amount above.
