We are now looking for an experienced, detailed oriented and business savvy Portfolio Manager to lead Smart Factory product introduction portfolio. Portfolio Manager will report directly to Head of Project Office and works in conjunction with Project, Program & Line Managers to align the projects with the stated priorities by leadership. The portfolio is managed by analyzing and assessing the site capability and facilitating the process to accept or reject new projects and making changes in timeline or scope transparent to sponsors. Project and portfolio financial health is also monitored by Portfolio Manager.

What you will do

  • Evaluate and report USA 5G Smart Factory ability to complete tasks, plan and present portfolio scenarios to support overall strategy
  • Enhance portfolio value and ensure right balance and mix of projects
  • Secure accurate reporting on people capability analysis to secure resources for portfolio execution. Organize and chair the internal resource capability meeting to support program and line managers
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and colleagues across Ericsson global organization and external partners to the effective and efficient management of people to gain and maintain competitive advantage
  • Support Project Managers and Program Managers during the analysis and planning stages to estimate costs, resource, and time requirements.
  • Project portfolio controlling: monitoring and evaluating project progress from portfolio health standpoint and support milestone decisions.
  • Responsible for aggregating project finances, forecast estimations and the monthly analysis and reporting
  • Responsible for coordination of change management process of project scope, timeplan and budget changes
  • Own and admin the Project and Resource planning tool: maintain with active information, organize regular trainings for the project, program and line managers, support with use
  • (Required) Promote, understand, and strictly adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines without deviation.


You will bring

  • Innovative and open mentality to adapt to the ever-changing environment
  • Experience in the telecommunication industry
  • An entrepreneur-like attitude, constantly driving for efficiency and positive change, but more importantly, consistently deliver outstanding results
  • Good understanding of project and program management methods and principles, including experience using project and resource planning tools
  • Excellent analytical skills; good understanding of cost and budget management
  • Exceptional communication skills in all media, to support cross-functional and cross-regional teams/stakeholders
  • Result oriented, analytical and proactive
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or engineering
