Postdoctoral Fellow (Shresta)

Postdoctoral positions are available at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology (LJI) in the research group of Professor Sujan Shresta. The research team focuses on investigating virus-host interactions in the context of globally relevant infectious diseases caused by flaviviruses and coronaviruses. We use state-of-the-art mouse models, primary human cell culture models, human patient samples from endemic countries, and omics system biology.

Leveling Requirements

  • PhD, MD, or DVM in immunology, virology, or a related field
  • Strong scientific productivity, demonstrated through high-quality research published in peer reviewed journals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and collaborative projects
