IC CAD Engineer

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting all IC design CAD tools, which include but not limited to Cadence schematic entry, mixed mode circuit simulation, layout design, layout verification, logic synthesis, place & route, SKILL code development, and Mentor Calibre DRC/LVS/xRC.

Other tasks include system admin of Linux users, software tool installation, license management, user support, and vendor interface. You will also work with IC layout designers in taping out physical layout design to mask shop.

Requirements:

BS or MS in EE or Computer Science or Physics
A minimum of 1-5 years of relevant work experience and new grads with master’s degrees

Power Integrations is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation. The annual base pay range for this position is $69,168- $109,038. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location.

The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
