Technical Analyst, Oracle EBS

Job Description:
Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Systems, the Technical Analyst is responsible for Oracle Application customizations, extensions, and integrations to existing applications. The Technical Analyst is expected to work on development activities and manage custom application development projects, customizations, and extensions of Oracle Applications. This position requires to work closely with functional and business users to understand requirements and turn them into technical and component designs and specifications. A strong technical background in programming languages with a thorough understanding of the underlying technical architecture of Oracle Applications are a must. Excellent interpersonal as well as good verbal and written communication skills combined with outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Act as lead Technical Analyst of the company’s Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) ERP
  • Review, implement, update, document plans, effort and designs across multiple projects and tasks
  • Design, configure and code reports, UI, programs, extensions, and interfaces in Oracle EBS and related applications and systems
  • Deliver technical solutions using best practice development standards
  • Develop new applications and extensions based on user requirements 
  • Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues with Oracle Finance/Manufacturing applications
  • Support and troubleshoot existing applications including Forms, Reports, Interfaces and applications related to Oracle EBS
  • Closely work with other IT groups on projects, remediations and incidents
  • Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams

 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant technical development experience with Oracle EBS 12i (R12.2.10) - Oracle Inventory, SCP, Purchasing, Order Management, AP, AR, GL, FA
  • Strong in PL/SQL programming, Oracle OA Framework (ADF, Java/Java Script, JSP, XML), Forms, Reports, and Workflow
  • Extensive experience in creating SQL packages, functions, and procedures
  • Deep technical expertise and experience in Oracle Reports/BI Publisher/PLSQL/Forms Personalization/Workflow
  • Web Application development experience with server-side Java and a client-side JavaScript framework like React.js is a big plus
  • Experience with RPA is highly desirable 
  • Semiconductor industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage projects and coordinate with hybrid onsite/offshore teams
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
